360-Degree Swivel Base
The swivel mechanism allows the chair to rotate smoothly in either direction. This is useful in outdoor conversation areas where users may want to turn toward a sofa, side table, pool or surrounding view without moving the entire chair.
Rounded Wraparound Back
The backrest curves around the seat instead of using a conventional flat panel. This gives the chair a more enclosed feel and creates a distinctive silhouette from the front, side and rear.
Vertical Rope Weaving
Weather-resistant outdoor rope is wrapped vertically around the curved back structure. The fine lines add texture while allowing the teak frame to remain visible.
Wide, Deep Seat
The generous seat depth is designed for lounging rather than upright dining. Two removable bolster cushions can be repositioned for additional side, lumbar or arm support.
Cushion Construction
The cushion system uses different fillings according to function.
Seat Cushion
High-resilience polyurethane foam provides structured support and helps the cushion recover its shape after use.
Back Cushion
Fiber filling creates a softer, more relaxed feel against the back.
Bolster Cushions
Two loose bolster cushions are included and can be repositioned according to the user's preferred seating position.
For exposed outdoor projects, alternative quick-dry cushion specifications can also be discussed if available.
Outdoor Fabric
The standard cushion is upholstered in weather-resistant Olefin fabric, a practical choice for outdoor seating because of its ease of maintenance and suitability for everyday exterior use.
Depending on project requirements, fabric options can include different:
- Colors
- Textures
- Performance grades
- Upholstery specifications
This allows the same teak swivel chair to be coordinated with outdoor sofas, sectionals and other lounge furniture.
Solid Teak Frame
The frame is handcrafted by Chinese artisans from FSC-certified solid teak.
Teak provides both structural strength and a warm natural surface that contrasts with the woven rope and soft upholstery. The timber detailing is intentionally kept visible around the front, sides and upper frame so the wood remains part of the chair's design rather than being hidden beneath upholstery.
If your factory offers different teak finishes, I would recommend listing them clearly, for example:
Natural Teak – fine-sanded to retain the original grain and warm tone.
Aged Teak – a softer, more weathered finish for relaxed outdoor settings.
