Material & Construction
The frame is made from solid teak, selected for its natural grain, strength and suitability for outdoor furniture.
Outdoor rope is tensioned and woven by hand across the seat, back and arm sections. Its slightly flexible surface provides more give than a solid timber seat while maintaining the clean proportions of a dining chair.
Teak Finish Options
Natural Teak
Fine-sanded to retain the natural grain and warm golden tone of the wood. With prolonged outdoor exposure, untreated teak will gradually develop a silver-gray patina.
Aged Teak
A hand-applied finish creates a more weathered appearance from the beginning and works well in relaxed, natural outdoor settings.
Custom finish matching can also be discussed for project orders.
Rope & Color Options
The rope can be coordinated with the surrounding furniture and project palette.
Available options may include:
- Beige
- Taupe
- Sand
- Light gray
- Charcoal
- Custom project colors
Different rope tones can noticeably change the character of the chair: lighter neutrals create a softer coastal look, while darker rope gives the teak frame more visual contrast.
Optional Cushion
The woven seat is designed to be used on its own, but an optional loose cushion can be added when a softer sitting feel is preferred.
Depending on the application, cushion options can include:
- Quick-dry reticulated foam
- High-density outdoor foam
- Solution-dyed acrylic fabric
- Olefin outdoor fabric
- Custom fabric colors
For uncovered outdoor spaces, quick-dry foam and higher-performance outdoor fabric are the more practical combination.
